Hello Hashers!!!
I'm pleased to announce Run #430 - The Weihenstephan Bergfest Hash.
Come
along and join us for a run around Freising, ending at a beer festival
in Weihenstephan (the oldest brewery in the World) with great, cheap
beer.
When: This Saturday August 23, 2008 - 17:00 (5:00pm)
Meeting Point: Freising S-Bahn/DB Station East Parking lot (see map)
Run Type: A -> B ->(staggering drunkenly) A
Transport:
Getting to Freising is easy and quick. You can either take the SBahn
(S1) from Munich HBF which takes 39 mins, on you can take a fast local train (RE/RB/ALX) which takes only 23
minutes from Munich HBF. When you buy a MVV Partners Tageskarte -
Gesamtnetz (for 18€, good for 5 people), it's also valid on the faster
local trains to Freising. You can treat them like part of the MVV
system...only it's much quicker.
The ideal train to take is the RB train which leaves Munich HBF at 16:05 from Track 26
(this train also stops at Feldmoching at 16:15). If you wish to share
tickets then you should arrange to meet near Track 26 at HBF earlier.
On After: Weinenstephan Bergfest (in case of bad weather a nice Wirthaus will be reserved for us).
Note: The Freising SBahn station is a short 10min walk away (down the berg) once we've had enough of the fest.
